If you, or any member of your household are feeling unwell/showing symptoms of COVID-19 you must not attend any event, hires or lesson onsite.
Social distancing (2m apart) should always be maintained. We politely ask you “Arrive-Ride-Leave” to avoid hanging around. No groups or gatherings are allowed.
The use of face masks, hand sanitizing and other measures to reduce the spread of infection must be followed as per government guidelines.
No dogs allowed onsite.
Hand sanitiser is provided at key points.
One toilet will be open outside the main reception. It can only be accessed by walking through the gates in the front car park. Do not walk through the indoor stabling or use indoor facilities at any time. If necessary, please stand at a 2m distance outside the external toilet when queueing. Where possible please use your own facilities.
There is no public access to the indoor stabling or barns at any time except for staff and livery clients.
Members should only attend British Dressage activity which is either within the region in which they reside, or at show centres close to their home. Please keep up to date on all rule updates from the relevant governing body.
All competitors must keep to their times. NO exceptions.
All entries and payments to be completed online in advance of the show date.
Entries will be spot checked on the day. There is no admittance to any show for anyone not on the start list. No exceptions.
In England, BD competitors can now be accompanied by friends and family, up to a maximum of six people or two households – this rule includes the rider, groom and / or trainer), in line with government guidance. Anyone attending should remain within their bubble and not mix with other households while on site. For large/busy shows, please do not bring additional spectator vehicles.
No additional spectators are permitted on site, other than competitors and permitted support crew, access will be limited to venue staff, officials and pre-accredited media and photographers only. No exceptions. Reminder – where possible please arrange to for non-riding U18s to stay at home. If additional spectators are seen onsite, you will be asked to leave.
Be courteous and park with adequate space between lorries. The rear lorry park is for horse-transport vehicles only. No cars allowed in the lorry parking areas.
A reminder that horses should not be tied to lorries or left unattended.
Warm up time is limited to 30-40 minutes prior to going down the centre line.
There is a maximum of 8 horses allowed in the Andrews Bowen arena for flat warm up only.
Riders should always keep three horse lengths apart from other competitors.
No helpers/grooms/supporters are permitted in the warm-up, except for para riders
For unaffiliated shows, follow signage on the day and read schedules prior to arriving.
Competition – One Way System
Enter the competition arena directly from the warm-up area ready for your time.
After your test – exit the competition arena via the lorry park gate and return to the lorry park. Practice arena is not to be used for cool down.
Return to the designated parking area to untack and load up. Horses should not be tied to lorries/trailers.
No prize-giving will take place on the day. Stamped SAE can be left at the Secretary “hut” for score sheets to be posted at the end of the show.
Results will be posted online after the show and available to view via the MyRidingLife live stream during the show.
Prize money will be refunded electronically onto your original payment card, to arrive within 5-10 days. Note – please make sure all contact details are correct as we may need to contact you for additional information to process your prize money. After one week, prize money uncollected will be forfeited. No cash prize money will be paid.
Usual refund policy applies. No transfers will be given for anyone who withdraws after times have been posted.
Catering will be take-away only and should be consumed within your own vehicles. Maintain social distancing if there is a queue and if using picnic tables, please ensure you use hand sanitiser before and after.
Test & Trace
When entering online please ensure all contact details, including a telephone number and email address, are up to date on your “My Riding Life” account so that you can be contacted if necessary.
As part of Test & Trace requirements, by entering any event or arena-hire, you are the lead contact for all persons in your party, should you or a member of your party need to be contacted. There are NHS Test & Trace QR posters on display at the Show Centre. Customers and visitors can ‘check in’ using this option – the QR poster can only be scanned using the NHS COVID19 app.
